Music that Inspires

​Billy Joel Martinez is a singer, conductor, and composer dedicated to inspiring others through music. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Central Florida and is currently pursuing a Master of Music from the University of Texas at El Paso. Growing up immersed in classical, sacred, and contemporary music, he developed a profound understanding of music's power to connect and move people. This diverse background informs his performances, conducting and compositions, with a mission that uplifts and encourages.
He currently serves as the Liturgy and Music Coordinator at St. James Cathedral in Orlando, Florida, where he directs both the Children’s Choir and the Hispanic Choir. He also serves as a cantor for the Diocese of Orlando, regularly singing at Diocesan liturgies and events. His leadership extends to the stage, where he has worked as an Assistant Music Director for theatrical productions.
Whether at church, on stage, or in studio, Billy’s ultimate goal is to foster faith, hope and love through the universal language of music.
